Great pizza and friendly staff

Has always been one of my favorite pizza places. Sauce has a bit more flavor then your standard mom and pop shoppe, but not so much that a sensitive palate won't enjoy it. A firm, yet soft crust, thicker then your standard "Bar pie", but not as doughy as many other state's examples of their "norm". I find Russo's Pizza epitomizes the wonderful differences of NJ and NY pizza VS chains and other states' standards.

Neighborhood pizza place with a few tables and a counter where you can still watch them toss the pizza dough. Nice owner. Fun, and the pizza's good. You can even get 2 pies for $20 cash.

It's a nice place for pizza, it's tasty and the attendant is gentle. I'll go back for a pizza. 👍🏼

I don't eat the pizza but the subs are good. Meatballs sub and the California chicken are a great.

This place makes an amazing turkey and cheese sub! Wow. Extremely flavorful every time. I Love the chopped tomato and lettuce salad on top! Bread is always soft and fresh.

I do not know how this review ended up saying this pizza shop is in Bridgewater when it is in Pearl River NY. Love the decor!!! The pizza is out of this world! Their sauce is just fantastic and the crust is phenomenal. My husband and I love this place! The house salad is amazing along with every other dish. The owners are great. They are polite and kind people. Will always keep coming back.

Best bunch of people ever to own a pizza place. Pizza is tasty and crispy. I also have yet to have a better California cheese steak than there. If you have a chance, hit this place up. Get a California and just wallow away in food geaven. There is a good reason why they have been around for a long time pretty obvious it's the service and the food. Come ,order, and you won't regret it.

This family owned place offers clean and delicious food that you can trust at a very fair price. My relatives have been going here for decades. You will never get a burned dry crust here. Gooey cheese pizza is the best. Call a head for fast pick up. During these times worrying about germs, it is nice to know who prepares your food with care.

Best plain slice in the area

Not bad. Soda machine needs to be cleaned out and serviced however, soda is flat.

I have to say that this place has to be the best tasting pizza around! Also depends on who cooks it though that's the downfall. Cheesteaks are the bomb! I see people eating pasta here at dinner time but I've never tried it. Always busy at dinner time. Two pie deal

We had a big snow storm, (Not the 2 feet the predicted) but every pizza place was closed on Tuesday. We left Lebanon and stopped at all the pizza places until after 20 minutes we found Russo's... The pizza was really good. Both my daughter and I liked it and we compare all pizza to Vinnie's in Wayne (THE BEST PIZZA IN NORTH JERSEY). This was really good pizza and we will drive by 10 pizza places to get here. Only gave 4 stores because I only ate pizza there once.

I drive passed 6 pizza shops from the other side of bridgewater to eat this pizza.

This spot is my preferred one. I visit many restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The team is very receptive and the cooking they offer is so good. I never decline to have a decent meal in this place. Highly recommended.

GREAT cheese pizza and in my top 3 for the area. Garlic twists were a little greasy and just had some garlic salt on them; I wouldn't recommend them. But the dipping sauce was A+.

Russo's doesn't look like much from the outside with its no-frills exterior. Inside you get a nice, welcoming, homelike atmosphere. The table cloths are unique and what you might find at a small, family restaurant. The plain slice has a crispy base, greasy cheese, and a crunchy crust. The peppers and onions slice, a classic that seems to be missing from many pizzerias I've visited recently, has good flavor and tasty toppings. These slices are the typical, greasy, Jersey slice. Good stuff.

This place is a small hole in the wall but the guys are friendly and the food is very good. One of the best pizzas I've had. Even plan cheese pizza is great, with a dry crisp crust a mild sause and tasty cheese. I go just for a slice sometime.

I’m giving this place 3 stars for inconsistency. Got a Sicilian pie that was amazing! ONCE. Went back 3 more times and all 3 times the pizza had a nasty burnt flavor. I’m not sure what it was, but it was present all 3 times following the first time it was amazing. I can’t explain the flavor but I guess the pizza was over cooked? Pre cooked? Strange. The mozzarella sticks are good and the knots are good and the subs are great. Wish the Sicilian lived up to the first time we had it.

Ordered garlic knots from this place and they were pretty good. I would suggest instead of just using garlic powder to use fresh garlic! Other than that, great service and overall experience
